Executive coach and executive team coach
Trevor knows what it is to perform under scrutiny, to be defined by a role and to rebuild who you are when that role ends.
His first career was at the top of professional sport. Over 11 seasons in Australia’s National Basketball League, he won back-to-back championships with the Perth Wildcats and represented Australia. He then built a second career leading learning, talent and leadership development in global organisations, and has since worked with leaders across corporate organisations and elite sporting teams.
Trevor’s coaching looks at the beliefs and habits that drive how leaders lead, especially under pressure. That often means examining the expectations they have built their identity around, noticing where they hold back parts of themselves, and developing new ways to respond in the moments that matter.
His approach is attentive and practical. He listens closely, asks questions that bring blind spots into view, and tailors tools to the decisions and conversations a leader is facing.
At Faro Partners, Trevor coaches executives and senior executive teams.
Trevor has held senior roles at HSBC, Optus, GP Strategies and Bendelta. At HSBC he was Global Head of Learning Design and Global Head of Organisation Induction and Talent Development, and led learning and leadership development across Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and North Africa. At Optus he was Head of Learning, Talent and Culture.
Trevor is an ICF-accredited coach. His certifications include Genos Emotional Intelligence, The Leadership Circle, Growth Edge Coaching, Prosci Change Management, DiSC, TDf and MTQ Plus, along with training in therapeutic approaches.
