Strategist, retreat facilitator and somatic coach

Mailys spent 15 years in strategy, working alongside executive teams as they set direction and led change across consulting and corporate roles. Alongside this, she trained in somatic practices. Her work brings the two together, helping leaders draw on their intuition and bodily awareness alongside their thinking.

She has facilitated more than 20 retreats and 100 workshops and group experiences, supporting people through self-exploration, transitions and personal development.

Breath sits at the centre of her coaching and facilitation. It takes leaders beneath everyday thinking to what they sense and value but have not yet put into words, helping them recognise what is shaping their reactions and choices.

Her approach is grounded and intuitive. She designs each experience with care, giving it enough structure to feel safe and enough space to follow what emerges. Leaders can then come to the work with curiosity and learn to trust what they already know.

At Faro Partners, Mailys coaches executives and facilitates our leadership retreats, bringing her strategy experience to our client work.

Mailys began her career in strategy consulting with Roland Berger and OC&C, before moving into corporate roles with Qantas Loyalty, Woolworths, Velocity Frequent Flyer and healthcare organisations across France and Australia.

She holds an MSc in Management from ESSEC Business School, France. She is a certified yoga teacher with more than 1,200 hours of training in Vinyasa, Yin and Embodied Flow, a breathwork facilitator, and has additional training in energy-based practices.
